We attended a Summer Play Day at the Arden Fair Disney Store in Sacramento, CA on Saturday, July 6th. My girls were in for a treat because they got to participate in the Art of Animation Play Day. We didn’t even plan on this happening, we just went to the Disney Store to pick up some Monsters University Plush. Which by the way was 2 for $8.00 for the mini sized ones.

The character that they were drawing was Piglet. It was really cute how the Cast Member tried super hard to get these little kiddos to draw Piglet. I honestly feel like it was a difficult character to draw. My suggestion would be to do Mickey Mouse. I am sure that they rotate the characters that they teach but Piglet seemed to be a little challenging for the kids.

The event took about 20 minutes and the kids were given special frames to put their pictures in. They were also given a stamp card to bring back with them the next time they attend a Summer Play Day. When they attend 5 events they will get a Mickey Mouse keychain and when they attend 10 events they get a watch! That is awesome.
