Monterey Bay Aquarium #FindingDoryEvent

I visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium as part of the Finding Dory Press Event and what I discovered is that the Aquarium is perfect for the whole family.

Monterey is beautiful.

The coast of Northern California is beautiful and is a must visit location.

You can get up close to the ocean and enjoy beautiful views, beautiful weather and the relaxing sounds of mother nature. For some reason, when I visit Monterey I always seem to be more relaxed.

Here is a relaxing video from the deck of the patio of the The InterContinental – The Clement Monterey.

You can visit a ton of sea life all at once and learn something new.

In one day you can visit a vast array of sea life at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and you can even touch some of them! You can visit Birds, Fishes, Invertebrates, Marine Mammals, Octopuses, Plants and Sea Turtles at the Aquarium and the volunteers are nice and very knowledgeable.

Daily Shows and Feedings are fun to watch and educational.

Everyone enjoys the Sea Otter feeding. It is neat to see because you can get views of the otters under water, on the water and out of the water.

During the Press Event we were allowed backstage to see the Sea Otter Feeding in action. You can also view this on the Aquarium Web cams. Other sea life daily shows include a Penguin feeding, Open Sea feeding, Kelp Forest feeding and more!

Entertainment, Shopping, Lodging and Eating on Cannery Row

Visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium isn’t complete without checking out the surrounding area. There are restaurants, entertainment and lodging just steps away from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This area is called Cannery Row and it has plenty to offer for everyone. I highly suggest eating at the Cannery Row Brewing Company, they have the BEST grilled cheese sandwich according to my 6 year-old. Cannery Row Restaurant - Cannery Row Brewing Company

The InterContinental – The Clement Monterey is next door to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and it offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

I hope you get the chance to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
