The music does not disappoint, and how could it with the amazing team of Lin-Manuel Miranda (yes, the Hamilton guy), Mark Mancina, Opetia Fao’i and the band Te-Vaka. In the opening of the movie, where we see the iconic Disney Castle, you will hear a unique opening sung by Olivia Fao’i, the daughter of Opetia.

The song “You’re Welcome” is performed by Dwayne Johnson and written by musical genius Lin-Manual Miranda.

Hollywood Records artist Jordan Fisher teams up with Miranda for the end-credit version of “You’re Welcome.”

The Moana two-disc deluxe edition feature additional tracks including demos, outtakes and instrumental karaoke tracks. The Deluxe version is a MUST for any Lin-Manuel Miranda fan, there are demos song by him on the Deluxe version.

Another amazing song in the movie is “How Far I’ll Go” and is Moana’s song written by Lin-Manual Miranda, performed in the film by newcomer Auli‘i Cravalho.  The song will make anyone cry, it is a beautiful song for any age to relate to. The end-credit version of the song is performed by Canadian singer/songwriter and Def Jam recording artist Alessia Cara.

About Moana

Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson, is a demigod—half god, half mortal, all awesome. Charismatic and funny, he wields a magical fishhook that allows him to shapeshift into all kinds of animals and pull up islands from the sea.

During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder.
