I was shocked to learn that one-in-three families (36%) in the U.S. struggle with diaper need. These families lack a sufficient supply of diapers needed to keep their baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy.
In September, the National Diaper Bank Network and founding sponsor Huggies announced a study, Diaper Need and Its Impact on U.S. Families, revealing that one-in-three U.S. families (36%) continue to struggle with diaper need.
Parents experiencing diaper need missed an average of four days of work or school in the past month because they are unable to provide sufficient diapers to their childcare, day care or early education programs to care for a baby or toddler.
How You Can Help
The San Francisco 49ers and Huggies are teaming up to for a diaper drive to benefit the “Help A Mother Out Diaper Bank.”
Fans can bring a pack of diapers to the Sunday, December 17, 2017, San Francisco 49er game at Levi’s Stadium. Just look for the No Baby Unhugged donation bin at Faithful Mile presented by Global Syn-Turf to make your donation from 10:25 a.m. to 1:25 p.m.
Fans who donate will have the opportunity to meet former San Francisco 49ers players, play games and win prizes including autographed gear. I am excited to announce that one of the prizes is a behind-the-scenes tour of Levi’s Stadium.
Unable to attend the game? No problem, you can donate diapers through the Huggies No Baby Unhugged Amazon registry to benefit the members of the National Diaper Bank Network.
If you have Huggies Rewards points you can also help fight diaper need by simply donating your points to benefit the National Diaper Bank Network.
What Type of Diapers to Donate
Any size of diapers are accepted for donation.
Huggies has a variety of diapers available from newborn to Size 6.
Make a difference today and bring home a pack of diapers to donate at the December 17th San Francisco 49er game.
