Comments

  1. It’s a good thing we don’t still have cable at our house, or we’d be pretty much glued to HGTV and I’d be very dissatisfied with my house! LOL The only two on your list that I’m familiar with are Vern and Genevieve, both formerly from Trading Spaces (I loved that show!) Who would you most be looking forward to seeing?

  2. I never knew that so many HGTV personalities were there or some of their varied backgrounds. How cool. I like Chris Lambton. From Bachelor to Landscaper.

  3. I love HGTV! Can’t wait to check out Chip Wade when I am at Epcot in May! 🙂 Thanks for the information!

  4. I used to love to watch Genevieve and Vern on Trading Spaces! I recognized him right as soon as I saw him! 🙂 This sounds so cool! Someday, I’m going to get to Disney during this time…someday.

  5. I love HGTV and watch all the time. I would love to meet any of them!! Do you have a favortie?

  6. Looks like an amazing line up! Like Heidi, I am only familiar with Vern and Genevieve.
Do you have a presenter that you would just love to see added to the line up one year?

  7. I love that they offer these workshops with the experts. I wasn’t too familiar with the one that was there this weekend so we didn’t attend. I would have liked Vern or Genevieve as well.

  8. Super cool article Dawn! I know I am familiar with Genevieve and I think I know Taniya Nayak… is she from Restaurant Impossible.. remakes the Rest. decor for Robert Irvine?

  9. I would love to see Genevieve or Vern! Love them both! Are these guests staggered so you can see all in one day or do you have to choose because 2 are going on at the same time?

  10. I’d love to see Chris Lambton’s presentation – I’ve been wanting to do *something* with our tiny back patio area for years!

  11. Wow, what a great lineup of presenters! Amy Matthews is a great renovation person, I would love to hear her talk in person — and see if I could convince her to work on our house! Do you have a favorite that you would want to hear?

  12. I agree Dawn, this really is such a talented line-up. We just missed Vern Yip, which is unfortunate; I bet he would have had some great tips for my husband’s restaurant! I guess I need to start tuning in to HGTV!

  13. It’s so great to have access to such talented people during your Disney vacation!! I loved Vern Yip back when he was on TLC so I’d love to see him during the festival

  14. Oh I would have loved to see Vern Yipp or Genevieve! I adored them from Trading Spaces!

  15. I haven’t attended any of the workshops yet, but I’d really like to! I know I could learn a ton from any one of them!

  16. I think that would be pretty cool to see some of the HGTV folks – I go through phases where that and Food Network are all I watch, so I’m familiar with a bunch of them. Very cool opportunities.

  17. roemottola says:

I’ve sort of become an HGTV addict lately! Since purchasing my house last year, I went from 0 interest to watching 24/7. The last time I was at the Flower and Garden Festival I was an uninterested single girl. 🙂 Do you happen to know if they do this each year, or if the HGTV guests are specific to this year’s event?
