DisneyBounding

Do you want to head to the Disney Parks and dress up like your favorite character? Did you know that as an adult you are not allowed to dress up? According to the Disney Parks website –

Attire that is not appropriate for the theme parks (and which may result in refusal of admittance or ejection) includes but is not limited to Adult costumes or clothing that can be viewed as representative of an actual Disney character.

What can you do to still show your Disney Side while having a good time at the Disney Parks? I normally just wear a character tee shirt and a set of Mickey Ears.  But the next time I visit Disneyland I am going try Disney Bounding.

Have you heard of DisneyBounding?

DisneyBounding

DisneyBounding is when you pull together an outfit in the color palette of your favorite character, attraction or hotel; right now it is a hot trend among Disney nerds thanks to Leslie Kay.

The idea of DisneyBounding is the brain child of Leslie Kay.  Like most Disney fans she wanted to visit Disney and wanted to show the love for her favorite characters.  She looked in her own closet and started to put together outfits inspired by her favorite Disney characters.

Not only does Leslie put together outfits for inspiration but you can also buy the pieces on Polyvore.

Leslie also puts together DisneyBounding for Men as well.

Comments

  1. This looks like so much fun, but I’m so casual (jeans and t-shirts) and can’t imagine dressing up like this. Have you done it, Dawn?

    • Heidi – I have never done DisneyBouding as I am like you and more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. I think DisneyBounding is really cool and I want to try it.
