Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I guess I like to dress up and play pretend. I even have a Maleficent costume and I paint my face green. Disney makes Halloween even more fun for me because I really like all of the Disney merchandise that comes out. I WANT that Madam Leota Globe!!! The Disney Parks blog have just released a post about the new Halloween merchandise. You can check out all the great items on The Disney Parks Blog.
In addition to that I am a Nightmare Before Christmas fan so it is like a double whammy of a holiday for me as there tends to be even more Nightmare merchandise coming out around the fall. It is also the 20th Anniversary of the Nightmare Before Christmas and the Disney Store has released a gob of new merchandise too. You can check out their goodies on the Disney Store online .
If you are thinking about heading to the parks for Halloween then you are making a good choice as spending a few days at the parks during September and October will be such a treat. The parks will be decorated for Halloween.
For specific information about each park see Walt Disney World Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – September 10-November 1, 2013 and Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort from Friday, September 13 – November 01, 2013
Also, remember that tickets for the Halloween Parties require an special Halloween ticket in addition to your park admission ticket. This means that the parks close early on those days, usually around 7:00pm. You will need to check the park calendar for the specific days of the Halloween parties.
