Stay in New England Style at Walt Disney World

I attended the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in May 2015 and stayed at the beautiful Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The resorts at Walt Disney World provide guests unique places to relax after spending time at the parks. The theming of the Yacht Club Resort is that of a New England style. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a Deluxe resort that is a short walking distance to Epcot and a quick boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The resort is in a {Read More}

Bye Bye “Aladdin,” Hello “Frozen”

“Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” is a new live musical based upon the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award winning film “Frozen.” It just also happens to be my 6-year-olds favorite movie so you can bet we will be seeing it when we visit the Disneyland Resort this summer. The show will take place in the Hyperion Theater, once the home of “Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular,” which ran for 13 years and was a family favorite. Audiences will go {Read More}

Date Nite at Disneyland – #Disneyland60

My husband and I did something at Disneyland park that we have never done before! We went on a date and we had a fabulous time of course. Spending time in Disneyland park at night is truly a magical experience because the park has a different vibe at night than it does during the day.  My husband and I put on our fancy clothes and had dinner in the park, watched the fireworks and enjoyed our time together at the {Read More}

Should MagicBands Come to Disneyland?

There are two kinds of Disney Park fans, those that love MagicBands and those that don’t, there doesn’t seem to be an in-between.  I am on the side of the fence that think they are pretty incredible. 😉 One of the drawbacks that I hear about the MagicBands is using them in conjunction with the FastPass+ system. There is no denying that the FastPass+ system at the Walt Disney World Resort needs some tweaking.  I have used the system to plan {Read More}

When Pixie Dust Goes Beyond the Conference at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration – #DisneySMMC

In 2013 I heard about the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, the conference had already taken place for that year but the idea of being invited to the conference in the future sparked my interest. Disney Social Media Moms Celebration is an invitation only conference sponsored by Disney Parks and a variety of other sponsors including Hanes and Alamo. I learned about the “On the Road” version of the conference and knew that I had to be a part of it. Disney Social Media Moms {Read More}

Add Value to your Vacation with All Star Vacation Homes – #AllStarVacationHomes

My husband and I were recently planning a family vacation to Orlando and we wanted to spend at least 10 days in the area since there is a lot to see and do.  We also wanted to bring my mom along on the trip too so that meant we would need to book an extra room for her.  Once we calculated up the cost of our trip, one thing was apparent, lodging was going to cost us a lot of {Read More}
