What is My #DisneySide All About?

Everyone knows me for loving Disney and if they are headed to Disneyland the usually ask me a few vacation planning questions.  I LOVE to help people plan out their vacations.  I like doing it because it is fun to hear about their magical vacation when they return or see them posting on Facebook during their trip. I started my Disneyland vacations at age 3 and can’t even count how many times I’ve been there in the past four decades. {Read More}

What are Your Priorities?

Do you know what your priorities are? Do you live them everyday or do you let others bend the rules of your life and change your priorities to benefit themselves? My number one priority has always been my family. Nothing will come before them, ever. But my second priority is my own happiness. That is what has been lacking. I feel like I’ve been in a place for the past few years where I haven’t been genuinely happy. The death of {Read More}

Is it Time for a Mammogram? #CTCA

When I turned 40 I automatically assumed it was time for a mammogram, but I was wrong. I talked with my doctor and she said that there are screening tests that she could do in her office to determine if I needed a mammogram. Honestly, this scared me because I really just wanted a mammogram to be sure I was ok. After a clinical breast exam and review of my family history my doctor determined that I would not need a {Read More}

There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow

This is one of the hardest posts that I’ve ever had to write, but it means so much to me.  I wanted to post it again today because after submitting my Round 2 Disney Moms Panel application I’ve been thinking of my Dad and how much the theme “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is about progress and moving forward in life. I have grown so much as a person since losing him yet somehow I know he is still {Read More}

Fall TV 2015 Must Watch

Confession time, I am a TV junkie.  I have so many shows recorded on my DVR and I am embarrassed to tell you how much free space I have left. It is REALLY hard for me to watch many shows when they air. I do however, make every effort to watch Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder live because I can’t stay off of Twitter and I am bound to see a spoiler. 😉 I love this time {Read More}

My Disney Parks Moms Panel Story – #DisneyMP

This will be my third, yes my third year applying for the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The first time I heard about the Disney Parks Moms Panel the application window had already closed, so I marked my calendar for the following year to make sure I applied.  The panel is broken down into Disney Parks specialties such as Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, runDisney, and Disney Vacation Club. My speciality is the Disneyland Resort. I want {Read More}

A Missed Opportunity for Diamonds

I was on the fence, and I am not going to lie that I was checking airfares just a few days before the 24 hour event at Disneyland.  Just seven weeks ago I was in Orlando for the Monkey Kingdom media event and two weeks ago I was in Orlando for Disney Social Media Moms.  All in all the Disney Gods have been nice to me lately. But now, I was faced with the travel bug again.  I wanted to be {Read More}

In Search of a Spirit

The journey began last year, after my dad passed away from brain cancer. On the night of his death I was sitting in my front room,  got up and started to walk towards my staircase and up to bed. But then I felt like someone was behind me, watching me and I got a little bit scared. I cautiously peeked outside between the blinds and I didn’t see anything so I continued on my way up the stairs to bed. {Read More}

#DisneyKids Preschool Playdate

I hosted a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate for my daughter and her friends.  The kids were super excited to play the Disney Bingo Game.  The Bingo was a lot of fun for us because we are planning a trip to Walt Disney World AND Disneyland for 2015 and this was a good way to get the kids even more excited for their upcoming vacations. When we finished playing Bingo and making Disney Junior Fortune Tellers the kids played dress up which {Read More}

Disney Guides

This blog post isn’t about the Disney Guides you find at the Disney parks, but rather about someone in your life who is your Disney guide.  Some of us are lucky to have one from the start of our life, others find them along the way. As a young girl I grew up watching shows on TV like Wonderful World of Disney, Disney’s Wonderful World and Walt Disney.  I visited Disneyland at the age of four and was fully aware of what Disneyland was {Read More}
