90 Years of Disney Magic

90 years ago on October 16, 1923 is the day that Walt signed a contract with M. J. Winkler to produce a series of Alice Comedies. This date is considered the start of the Disney company first known as The Disney Brothers Studio.  The “Alice Comedies” are a series of animated cartoons created by Walt Disney from 1923 – 1927.  They were live action and featured little girl named Alice (originally played by Virginia Davis) and an animated cat named Julius have adventures in an animated landscape.

I love watching this short because we get to go back in time and spend a few moments with Walt.  We see a young 21 year old Walt and it is great to think about where his future was headed.
